The last one sounds kind of like the ignition switch. In the on position, try wiggling it and see what it does. Mine did something similar. All lights on, but would not crank. A little wiggle and it would. Same when it ws running. If I'd wiggle it it would stop. Finally I had to get it just in the right position or the tail lights wouldn't come on... It's an easy change out..

 

Or take the ign switch apart and clean the corroded contacts underneath. I did mine, easy. Mike

 

Wow, a blast from the past. I finally did figure it out. One of the wires for the Bank Angle Sensor was broken internally and that was causing the issue. Fixing that was the easy part.

The next issue I had to address was why the wire broke. It turned out that my counter balancer gear had rotated on the crank, causing extreme vibrations everywhere. It broke the gas tank welds, brake light fell off, exhaust broke, etc.

New welded crank and 27 hours of garage time and issue was resolved. Time sure does fly, hard to believe it's been that many years ago...
