Aux Lights
In another topic someone wanted to know a cheaper bulb from HD. Cause I searched this I know a Sylvania 898 will work.
But while I was looking I wanted to see if their was one that was brighter, found PIAA H11 will fit and plug in.
Now my question has anybody tried these and will my wiring be able to handle the load from these. They are 110W VS 55W Stock.

The stock Aux lights on most softails are 27 watts not 55. My answer would be NO. I would say that the heat build up in the lamp housing would cause the bulbs to blow and melt wiring. I tried 55 watt bulbs with short bulb life. I now use 35 watt bulbs. Wire your Aux lights to stay on with the Highbeam of the headlight and this will give you all the light you need.
