thanks...bike is 2007 night train...tmax/at....had not started the bike since october 09 cause of my 'remodel' project which took me way too long for many reasons....
have the tmax for about 2 years and never had such problem...so loaded base map, clear learned stuff, initialized, started until temps reached 280 then shut it off...ten minutes later start again, in a few minutes notice the check engine light is on, so connected to the pc and said a problem with the rear o2 sensor (AFR 19.36)...shut the bike off and did not ride the bike...the next weekend changed my exhaust, did the tmax setup and the same thing happen except this time it's the front o2 sensor, the rear one is fine...got the dtc code thru speedo

when you changed pipes did you switch the o2 sensors around? i put my new one on the back because it is easier to replace the front one and now that the wires are going bad i will replace it. after moving my wires around the code is gone but i know it will be back

no, kept the sensors in the original locations...the fact that before changing the pipes was the rear sensor only and after the front sensor only, leads me to beleive that is not a situation of bad sensors....

anyways, did you get the replacements from zippers or other source?

i got the replacement from zippers, about 125 delivered
AFR 19.36 is the heater calibration reading. i am guessing you re-calibrated the TM and you did not get anti seize on the o2 sensor

you're right, this time i did not put anti-seize on the threads, but why would that matter?...the sensor was reading correct measurements when i first started the bike, after maybe a minute or two it went to 19.36 and the check engine light came on

i meant getting it on the sensor will cause issue. i just recently added electrical grease to the connections for the o2 and also the data port, the grey 3 wire port. when your bike is off and you connect the computer and turn on the hey it goes to 19.36 when the heater in the o2 is on. if the connections are ok then get another o2 sensor or a pair if you can afford it. if you get only 1 new one put it on the back so the next time you need the front it will be easy to replace
