Default Heritage driver backrest

I am looking for a driver backrest for an 04 heritage that I can setup solo.I don't want to buy a new seat, just use the stock one.
I have seen the firehouse customs site and a picture.Anyone used it?
Other suggestions.
Jim

Had an 08 classic with the backrest. Liked mine. Don't know if they mount the same. Traded mine in on a 09 UC. Still have the backrest.

Some folks like them. I have a Firehouse for my 2010 Heritage, but cannot use it. It flexes so much, when I accelerate, I'm afraid it's going to bend all the way back to the fender if I don't hang on to the bars. I have a Mustang solo with backrest and it's solid as a rock. You couldn't flex it no matter how hard you pushed against it. Point being - I want a backrest that I can lean on, without reservation. The Firehouse isn't it.

I had one on mine for a spell and it worked fine except for it not being adjustable. There was very little if any movement in it when the seat nuts were tightened all the way down. Had no problem with it springing back.

Anyways I kept getting a backache and thought it was because the backrest wasn't adjustable. Dropped big $$ for the adjustable mustang setup and still had the backache. Guess it was my back

I think FCs used to have a policy where you could try the seat out and if it didn't work you could get a full refund. Give em a call.

took the stock seat and made mine... after buying the wife the new touring seat..

I cut the stock one down (pan) and formed it with the foam from the area I cut off.
Then had local auto shop put new vinyl on it to match the bags with the spots...

Its 7 in high and great for my solo ridiing backrest..
