Default Fat Boy 12" fat mini-ape install done! Pix included.

Took me a few evenings, a good bit of head scratching, looking at the service manual, and begging for help on this forum, but I got it done.

WOW, what a difference in how it handles! I like it a lot better across the board. Cruising, cornering, etc. and the riding position is far more comfortable.

My hands are only about 7" higher than with the stock bars, but between that and the angle of the grips if feels like a completely different bike.

I think it looks a lot cooler than the stock bars...

Looks great! Now to get a mustang seat.

Fatboys look better without those reflectors.

Looks great!Those are the bars I've been thinking about.Maybe over the winter.
Now you need a chrome front end!

I think it looks good, but not to sound all know it all, I belive you will replace them for bigger ones soon.

How much will you pay me if I still have these in 2 years?

Not to dis other peoples rides, but I dont like the taller apes.

Dont like em. Cant see that changin.

ha Chunks were did you get the bars and stuff and what size are they? part # for the kit would be nice. i am thanking of putting apes on my 08 fatty also. i have a problem with my ares going to sleep on long rides i hope that with a more relaxed angle for my hand it wont do this any more/.
