Default Anyone install "Silencer" hand grips?

Im thinking about putting them on my 09 Bones. They match the pipes pretty well and just look cool I think. They are a glueless design and frankly ive never put on new grips anyways so I was just wondering what needs to be done and if anyone has used them personally.

Default Silencer collection

Hey, I know this is an old post but I just installed the whole Silencer collection on my 09 Iron. Installation was really easy. The pegs are just snap rings and a pin, the gear peg is allen off, lock tite back on again. The grips are glueless. For the left grip, loosen the clutch mount and slide out of the way, loosen control housing, then cut away or pull off the old grip. Replace with the new. The throttle grip is easy too, roll the cable covers back and allow as much cable slack as possible, remove two screws to control house and move it up and out of the way. You'll be able to see both throttle control cables. Use a screw driver to pull up the slack and remove it with the brass ferule (careful not to drop it). Do the same for the other cable/ferule. The grip will fall off the handlebar. Slide the new one in place, re-feed the the two cables/ferules in the new grip and put the control housing back on. Semi-tighten the housing and test. Re-adjust the cable slack by screwing in/out the slack nuts, re-test. Once everything feels right, lock-tite the two screws holding the control unit together. Easy. Takes about 15 mins.

Yes I have them, they look awesome, but they're always cold as hell, and the holes leave marks on your hands that look like a cheese grater.

Yeah but realistically isn't any steel or aluminum hand grip going to be cold? How do they feel in your hand aren't they skinny in the middle? Only reason I ask is IV been looking at them for awhile. They look awesome in some of the pictures IV seen.

Look at my sig pic. They're not slippery whatsoever, but you can't ride without gloves, and nor should you anyway.

What do you mean skinny in the middle? They're the same diameter across the whole length. They're not FAT in the middle like some grips, if that's what you mean.

I always ride with gloves as well. Usually gel padded palms. Dealer didn't have any on hand to look at today. Your sig pic is to small to see them nicely unfortunately.
