Did you manage to get the wheels swapped and if you did/didn't what were the issues encountered?
Any information would be greatly appreciated if just to avoid any unnecessary aggravation.

cheers,
don't wait for Silver Heels to answer... his last post was Sep 2010. resurrecting old posts sometimes won't get you an answer.

I looked at the microfiche and the axle spacer part numbers are the same for 2007 and 2008 but the wheel part number is different. I was thinking the spacers would be different and you could get the newer spacers for the newer wheel, however since the spacers are the same it seems they might have to be altered to make this work.

The lower fork legs have different part numbers on 07 and 08 fatboys. I am assuming this is due to the difference in the offset on the wheel and fender.

I have a 2007 Fatboy. I recently tried putting 2014 Fatboy wheels on it to no avail. I'm not saying it can't be done but 2007 seems to be kind of a one off year when it comes to wheels.

I did however have great success with the engine build.

Hi chaps, thanks for the replies. I'm halfway through at the moment with the front wheel in and so far I've had to space the caliper approx 2mm and all seems ok. should have the rear wheel back in a few days and will give that a go. will keep ya posted on progress. Fingers crossed. All the best,
