Default Big Bore build part 1 with PICS

I am using the Screaming eagle 95" Big Bore kit for this build. First was to remove the seat and disconnect the negative battery cable. Then remove the air cleaner and the exhaust.

Next drain the tank (don't fill it full like I did just before this without thinking about it). Once drained set it aside and you can get down to business on the Rocker boxes. First pull the push rod retaining clips to unload them.

Tank off

Loosen the throttle cables and disconnect them from the throttle body.

Remove the rocker box cover bolts and the covers. This is what it will look like.

Disconnect all the pugs from the throttle body.

Remove the Rocker breathers and rockers

Remove Rocker box.

Remove push rods keeping track of intake and exhaust.
Remove throttle body. ball end allen is a must here 1/4".
Remove heads.

Heads removed

Loosen the 3 bolts on the primary side at the bottom of the cylinders and remove cylinders.

Remove wrist pin clips and slide out wrist pin.
remove pistons.

That is where I will stop for today.

If i could only stay up and work all night like the good old days I'd be near done by now. But, I am older and wiser now and insist upon sleep.
