Default Big bore build part 2 with PICS

Notice the blood on the rags from yesterday.

The build is done and I will be spending a lot of the day getting some miles on it. This is reassembly from the lower rocker boxes up.

Reinstall throttle body (or carb) Make sure to center it so that there are no intake leaks. Gently rock it back and forth until you feel the gaskets are seated in the ports. Use the new gaskets with the kit!

Install lower Rocker boxes with new gaskets from the kit.
Install Rockers and Rocker breathers with new filters etc.

Careful not to injure your leg on the axle spikes as kk6pg did, 2 days 2 injuries.

Install Rocker box covers with new gaskets.

Install throttle cables.

put all the plugs back on the throttle body including the breather and injector plugs with clips.

Reinstall motor mount

Install air filter

Install tank, dash and start her up and ride. I may have missed a few steps, but I did not take as many pics yesterday.

Do the jugs have a built in tapper so the rings stay intact when you slide the jugs down?

Not a taper, but a small chamfer at the base of the cylinder. If there wasnt, Drew would have taken a class at the 12 gauge school of engine assembly

Hey Drew, good job with the pics and description. Just wondering what your break-in procedure was to marry the rings and cylinders. Also, what fuel management system are you using and, going from 88 to 95 c.i., did you have to do a re-map before you fired it up the 1st time? I'm hope to be doing this upgrade in the near future as well.Thanks.
