Will a 160 rear fit my 2005 Deluxe?
I am upgrading to a 17" rear wheel.. Was wondering how wide of a tire my 05 Softail Deluxe will accept without modification? Thanks in advance!
Stock rear wheel was MU85B16 which should equal 140/90-16..

A 160 will fit but it will be tight. Check for clearance on the inside of the fender. Some guys have had to flip the strut and fender mounting bolts around to allow enough space.

I have a 160/60/18 on the rear of my 05. It fit under the original bobtail fender and also under the Klockwerks fender that I have now. I would assume the width of the Deluxe fender is the same?

What's the difference from a 160/70VB and 160/70HB tire?

Probably the speed rating, the HB would be higher.
