Lads, Looking for some cam suggestions. I have 2002 fatboy which i will be replacing cam tensioner pads soon and fitting EZ rods or similar, new roller bearings. Any ways its stage 1 SE pipes, MIK42 carb. Since i will have it open any suggestions what carb to fit, probably mid range up !!!
Any ideas would be great.

I am in the same boat (you can check my thread here as well), what I get is this.
for Mid-UP the 37 Andrews is the winner for most.
Once you go Low-Mid, it gets kinda .. crowded

you should be able to do a 510 kit without modifying the heads and get a little more bang in the mid range

Ran a HQ034 in before turning it in a full 95 kit. Very good all around cam.

One of the other benefits to the 510lift cams is that you do not have to tear down the top end. Just cut out the push rods and have at it!

While were on cams I have a dumb question. A friend is getting ready to do cams on his 05 (I think) Dyna. Hes not sure what cams are in the bike as hes the 3rd owner but the previous owner told him he thought they were stock. Is there anyway to look at the cams when he takes them out to see exactly what was in there?

Is the 510kit not a geared set up?

Hi - I'm running around 35K miles on my TC88 1999 Road King and the stealer is suggesting it is time to change out the chains and tensioners. Anyone have a preference for gear drive cams? Andrews, S&S etc? Appreciate any opinions and advice.
Rick
