Thanks, bud - hope you get yours sorted out. I been riding my Ultra Classic because of the weather and the tour pack which makes it easier to carry a bunch of stuff. The Springer FL has a carb so you probably know how they run in cold weather. I'll get it out tonight and ride it around a while just to give it a little work.

Mines got a carb (wouldn't have it any other way) and runs GREAT in any kind of weather. Hot, cold or just right, it runs the same.

Edit...The only difference I've ever noticed is that when I get down around sea level (it's jetted for the 6,000 foot range that I live in) the idle will kick up a bit.

My FXR (running a CV) still runs a tad too lean. Haven't made the time to remedy that just yet. Cold natured it still is...
