This is windshield on my Springer. It’s a quick release style so during the summer I remove it and on buggy or cold trips I put it on. I of course altered its size and decor.
There are some brackets that will need to be permanently mounted to the bike however they are not too intrusive.

Is that the FXSTS Sportshield? Looks like it to me.

That is kind of what I want, just something to deflect the wind from my chest.

Yes, I don’t have the part number anymore however it was tall and narrow looking. I cut it way down and made it near round instead of tall.
You can see it has only two mounts on it running vertical. No cross bar.

Perfect, that is exactly what I was looking at doing. Thanks...

Crap, now I'm standing here considering tearing my windshield apart and rattle canning the hardware. I like that black frame too.

Edit-... I was following the lead of the above poster before I looked at the pic.

The mounting bracket listed is the same for all springers..

I can't think of any good reason it won't fit, unless the Xbones headlight is mounted higher than your Springer classic
I don't think the windshield is springer specific. The bracket fits on the spring fork and the windshield is the same QD deal that goes on the Road King, etc. I've had my Large QD shield on two different springers, an FX and an FL.

Good to know. I have been trying to get some time to measure and figure out if the windshields are the same; and to see if it is only the bracketry that is different (the brackets that transition from the windshield to the bike brackets).

Thanks man

I use what ever I like. That is I cut out the head light opening to fit the springer.I use a Memphis black bottom one now,the rest of the hardware will line up or drill a hole, can't tell with everything back together.

I had the same windshield, shown on the top bike, an FLSTSC, and the lower bike, an FXSTS. I just had to buy another mount to fit the second bike. Worked like a champ.
