Hi all
I originally purchased and installed a customised Danny Gray seat on my 2009 Rocker C, I am now having a EZR 240 Heartland conversion done but want to retain the Danny Gray seat.
Has anyone installed a Danny Gray solo seat with a Heartland kit and if so how was it done as I believe the seat supplied with the kit has a different method of fitting.

I don't think it will fit. But hey I might be wrong.
I believe the struts in the kit and the DG seat mount using
the same holes.

But I was wondering if a notch could be cut on the inside of the struts to allow the seat tab to fit behind?

 

Anything is possible, but If you mess up, thats an exspensive mistake. I think the struts alone cost like $900.
Why don't you wanna use the seat that is in the kit?

 

The seat with the Hearltand conversion is also a Danny Gray product. They can customise it before its sent to you, if you ask Heartland and DG to arrange...

I didn't realise I had the option to customise the seat prior to delivery. It has all been ordered via my dealer in the UK and that option wasn't mentioned.

 

It wasn't an option as such, but I asked when I placed the order if it could be done and it was no problem. You would need to pay extra to DG but get some money back from Heartland.

Get ahold of Drew (drvtwin) and he'll hook you up with a good deal on anything from Heartland.

 

I am also interested in customizing the seat along with the heartland kit. Please keep me posted on how it goes and how much extra they charged you to customize the seat. Thanks, Glen
