Cloud- I prefer the mustang wide, better weight distribution. Really a matter of personal preference and both seats ate available at most hd dealerships, so you should be able to see and compare.
Bobber, you're pretty cool. I wasn't knocking la pera or any other seat. frankly those smaller seats look better. Some folks don't like the old school bigger look of the mustang, but its design is more for function. Ps, you may be right, of the 220,000+ miles I've ridden the last 13 years, only 48,000 were on this seat.

I know this is an old thread but I'm in the market for a certain looking seat and this one looks perfect!
How has this seat held up? Does the grain in the leather still look like croc/gator? Did you notice if it seemed a little less durable over a regular cowhide?
