Default Who makes a round oil tank

I have seen several bikes with round oil tanks, but every place I look only has up tpp 1999 frame fitment. Does anyone sell a oil tank for an 09 Deluxe?

Yes, most custom round oil tanks are made for '99 Softails and earlier. There might be someone doing them for newer bikes, but otherwise (and more probable) you'd have to do some fabrication work to get the older style ones to work.

I've sourced round oil tanks from a couple of good companies. They'll pretty much make any size tank you want, with the mounts where you want them. And they aren't too spendy (cheaper than the offshore catalog tanks) and both are made in the USA. You'd also likely need one with a battery box built in as I'd imagine mounting the battery elsewhere on a 2009 would be a challenge. But, on the other hand, with some imagination, ingenuity, and a smattering of mechanical smarts, anything is possible on a motorcycle!

I'm running this oil tank now.

The below seller has no ad for tanks up right now, but they do good work, so you might just ask about them.

I put this one on my 2002 fatboy:

Looks like it only fits up to a 2006 though?

This guy does some beautiful work! I've got one of his oil tanks on my bike and another one for my custom frame.

This must be one of those rare situations in which not only they still make it for '99ers, but they only make it for 99'ers and earlier models...
