Default Need pics, Z Bars on a Springer.

I'm hoping you Softail guys can give me a hand. I am growing tired of my bars and I think come spring when I loose the windshield, I may install some Z-Bars. A lot of the Dyna guys run them but not with Springers, so I need some pictures if you guys have them. I'm kind of torn between the 8 inch vs. the 10 inch Z-bars. Jammer and Paughco make them pretty cheap, but I would still rather make the right choice the first time. So please, if any of you Springer guys are, or have in the past run Z Bars, please post up a few pics. And PLEASE tell me what brand and size they are.

Thanks.

Thanks kiwideuce. Seems Z-bars on Springers are a thing of the past.

Thanks cheesecake. Your bars look very nice by the way. Hard to see in the picture but it seems like you have a bunch of nice brass accents. One of my favorite mods. Anyways, I'm getting ready to head up to the huge Washington D.C. swap meet thats coming next weekend. There ought to be a few hundred bars there to at least look at and get my hands on. That ought to at least give me some ideas.

I appreciate the link, thanks. My problem isn't finding the bars, its seeing what style and size might work on a chrome Springer. I'm starting to lean towards the 8 inchers. Once I decide, BR's might be a good place to get them.

Make the call to Billy and talk to him.
I've known him personally for years, and the kid can literally make anything out of steel. He communicates well and knows what will fit with "what" when it somes to style..
Tell him what you are looking for, and let him make some suggestions, and between the both of you, you'll have exactly what you want for your Springer..

I'm going to have him fab me something up this spring.
