Default Fat Boy Lo Owners, how comfortable is that seat

I have a 2007 Fat Boy and was looking for a seat that was a little bit lower and noticed that the Lo seat is almost an 1 1/2 lower than the stock Fat Boy seat. I was wondering how comfortable is the Lo seat and how does it compare to the Fat Boy seat.? It seems that it would fit my bike. Can I use my passenger seat with the Lo seat or do I have to get the Lo passenger seat?

Don't know about the passenger seat, should fit. As far as the comfort goes, I think it's comfy. I'm 6' 2" with a 34" inseam, and I'm comfy on it. It does sit you lower and also back further from the tank. That's why I like it. The further back I am from the tank, the more comfortable I am. The regular Fat Boy seat doesn't have the "dish" feel to it. It feels flatter. Just my opinion....

I like the Lo seat on my 2010 Fat Boy and is very comfortable for me. The Lo passenger looks better, but my GF says its uncomfortable on long trips so I just put on the Fat Boy passenger seat and deal with the looks and it really doesn't look all that bad.

You can also buy a 14" wide passenger seat for the LO instead of the stock one. (since you'd have to buy a passenger seat anyway) My wife likes it LOTS better.

Which one was it that you bought? I've been looking for one so I can get it for my wife. She also says the passenger seat is uncomfortable. She uses a gel pad that lays on top of it when she's on there and takes it off when we get off.

I have ridden in the Lo seat for 6 hours or so without issues. The passenger pillion is terrible. I swapped it out for the soft ail touring seat with fat boy styling, it is an add on seat by Harley. My wife loves it.

Part number 52915-07 $149.95 in the Harley Parts catalog 2011.
