Default 1/4 mile times

dont see much on here about anybody taking their bikes to the drag strip

i took my corvette a few times just for fun and to see what it runs, would like to take my bike

what could i expect to run? (obviously it depends on the rider and my weight----------i weigh 190)
what would a stock FXST or FXSTB usually run?

all i have done is a SE air cleaner and V/H straightshots

just curious

lol, i should let my dad take it down the track, he weighs 120 pounds soaking wet

A crotch rocket like the 1300 Suzuki Hayabusa has a spec. time from 0-60 in 2.4 sec. Considering that accel you go and do the math for a Harley...

Regards.

You're probibly not going to find to many people that have run them at the drags, unless it was for fun.

It's like running a lincoln continental, you'll get there in style, just not as fast as a cheaper Japanese model.

with the right rider a hayabusa will run low 6's in the 1/8th and 9's in the 1/4! dont know about the 1/4 on a softail but i have seen one run 7.40 in the 1/8th! i have spent alot of time at the track, being i sold a outlaw 10.5 tire mustang to buy my softail and have not seen alot of harleys at the track!! its alot of abuse for something that wasnt built to take it! just my 2 cents!!
