Default catalytic converters on 2011 Fatboy Lo

Does a 2011 Fatboy Lo have catalytic converters ?

i know the 2010 doesn't.. and i was under the thought that only bikes like the Electra Glide and CVO touring had them..

It's just a guess on my part but I would imagine they would be on bikes made for sale in California.

I thought the catalytic converters were in the mufflers on the softails

Unless it was somewhere inside the pipe where I couldnt' see, my stock pipes didn't have one, and my V&H big shots staggered don't have them.. and i'm 90% sure baffles aren't the same things as a catalytic converter

I'm pretty sure they would be in between the headers and the mufflers just like on a regular car.

This is what a CAT looks like inside your pipe. From what I understand (from looking this up on another thread) all harleys since 2010 with STOCK pipes have them. Some threads even said 08.

I don't know the answer but I can tell you that my 2009 stock Superglide exhaust was a lot louder than the stock exhaust on my 2010 Fat Boy Lo.

The CA bikes come with a charcoal canister that can be removed. But honestly...it doesn't really do much and I never saw the point in removing it just to remove it.
