This 103 bolt on kit is designed to provide increased performance
enhancements at an attractive price range that will
work with your Original E quipment heads. Kit includes 3-7/8"
diameter highlighted cylinders, forged aluminum 10.5:1
compression ratio pistons, an SE259E cam supported by
high-performance valve springs along with the appropriate
Perfect-Fit Pushrods and gasket kit. In addition kit includes
our “must have” E FI Super T uner to provide the correct


calibration for appropriate tuning abilities.

Now can anyone tell me why the differnce in price between the two kits once the tuner is removed from the price. Dealer said they would take off around 400 for the tuner since I already have it. Would'nt I need new push rods anyway, so that would be a wash.

Why does the stage 3 kit make so much more hp and torque? Are the cams and springs adding that much more?

Kinda confused

Compression is why it makes more Hp

The Stage 3 kit has forged hi comp pistons

thanks man I have been looking at this for 2 days now and I kept missing the pistons description.

Still not sure about the extra money though. Seems those psitons can't be worth an extra 2-3 hundred.

I think the head work is where the extra money comes into play. Like you said along with the tuner and high compression pistons I think make the price difference seem about right. Is that the installed price? Doesn't look like either build includes a tune either so add an additional 3-400 for that.

nope that was purley a parts quote directly from the SE parts catalog.
