Default Nacelle/Carilini Risers opinions Which Way would you go.

Well as Drew has stated before and confirmed by me a Harley Nacelle does not work with Carlini High Roller Risers. With out some trimming to the actual Nacelle itself.I have decided i do not want to trim the Nacelle.I would give up my high roller risers for the Nacelle. As I think the Nacelle makes more of a impact. These are my options Change out my risers to the Carlini Diamond risers and still will not be able to use the riser cover (cheap way out). Or get a new set of the Carlini Gangster Apes that are stepped down to except the the harley heritage risers and use the riser cover Expensive way out.Or does any one know if the Road King riser will fit a softail.HHC sells one that excepts 1.25 bars (clamping area) and fits under the Nacelle cover. This would be the best way out. But it doesn't look like it will work.

I would choose whichever risers that I like that does not require trimming the nacelle and not use the cover. That's what I did. If you have nice looking risers and top clamp then I don't think the cover is necessary. JMO.

Default nacelle

The cover is not necessary but it gives it a more finished look

To be honest never thought of this.I will have to look into it.As long as you won't be able to see the washers. And there are no safety concerns this may be an option. Thanks for the idea.

I agree with all the above posts. If you have nice looking risers its not necessary. But the cover does give it, a bit more of a finished look.

+1 the cover would look better but I couldn't use the cover and I'm satisfied.

Does anyone have any close-up photos showing their nacelle with riser and no cover? I've been thinking about putting some short pull-back risers on mine but haven't seen any like that to view. Thanks
