Default Harley screamin eagle heavy breather black 00-10

Interested in adding this to my "10" Lo. Am I going to have any tuning issues with this? I also have the Screaming Eagle black pipes
thanks

Once you free up the incoming air you will have to use some type of tuner to get the bike running like it should. But on the good side a good tuner, SE Race Tuner, Thundermax, PC3 or PC5 will let the bike run cooler and give you a little more power.

Read a few posts on this subject here and you'll get all kind of good info. Good luck on your project.

I went with the TTS Master Tuner with a dyno tune when I did the Stage 1.

Very happy with the results. Bike is a torque monster and slips into 6th gear at 50 mph.

When stock I never put it in 6th until around 65 mph.

Some say the stock ecm will adapt and you do not have to tune?

The stage 1 will work just fine with it. The ecm will adjust to it, mine runs perfect.

You'll probably run fine without any fuel management. However it may still run a little hot and lean. It definitely wouldn't hurt to add some Fuel Management. If you're not doing anything more than Stage 1 then I recommend the V&H FuelPak. I've used on my 3 bikes and never had an issue. Good luck.

jbg, you are correct that a fuel management system is always an upgrade. As far as running hot and lean with just stage 1, it dosen't.

I had the same concern and when I say it runs perfect like I have it, it's not an opinion. I have had this checked thoroughly and I have been running this set up just about 7 or 8 months now.

I woulda said the same as you if I didn't see it for myself bro.

My bike ran lean and hot stock. I had burns on my legs from the bike sitting for red lights or running in rush hour traffic. I also did a lot of slow speed escorts and parades with the oil bubbling up.

If I would never do stage 1, I would do fuel management on the stock bike to keep the bike running cool.

I agree, I'm running stage 1. Good advise! You guys probably know more about this than I do anyway, I'm just sayin what is happening with my set up. You could probably bury me in the performance knowledge, so I'll bow out now lol.
