Default Rush Slipons 1.75" vs. 2.00"

Can anyone tell me if there is that much difference in sound and performance of the 1.75" vs 2.00" baffles of the Rush Slipons? I have the 2.00" and like the sound, just curious.

Rush has some Youtube sound videos you can check out. Here's one for the Fat Boy with 1.75" baffles:

I have the Rush slip-ons with the 2.0" baffles and they're plenty loud for me. Love the sound too

I've got the 2.0" ones also, that's why I was wondering if there's any difference as far as performance/sound. Thanks for the link also.

I went from the 1.75" to the 2.0" on my Heritage. 1.75 sounded good at low speeds but mellowed out at highway speeds.

I wanted something a little louder and the 2" Baffles are perfect (for me).

Couldn't really tell a difference in performance.

My 1.75"s just keep getting louder. I'm going to repack the baffles when I tear down for a new rear tire.

I went the other way. I started with the 2.0 on my 09 Heritage and after a 4 hr ride my ears were ringing bad and I ware a full face helmet. They let me change the baff for the 1.75 much better for me, but I am turning 55 soon , remember they will get louder over time. It's been two years so now I am looking at V&H Long Shots

I've had mine on for well over a year and I can tell they are getting louder the more I ride. I wear earplugs because of the wind noise. I can barely hear the exhaust over the wind noise. I was just curious which ones were louder and if they performed any different. Thanks for the replies everyone.

I just put the Rush slip-ons with 1.75 baffles in my Heritage. I did not like the sound quality, too choppy, sounded muted, reminded me of a Japanese V-Twin cruiser with pipes. I got home and removed the baffles and took the packing material off them and re-installed. Sounds great now, a deep Harley rumble and sounds great on the throttle.

After 5000+ or so....you end up the same way if u leave the packing in....heat and pressure squaches and consumes it over time. My 1.75 Rushes with 8000 miles on them sound like new 2.0 baffles.
