Question Handlebars for 2006 Softail Standard

Hey ya'll I need advise on bars for my Standard. As of right now I have a set of Drags on it. 8 in. rise but straight up. The problem is I have to reach way out for them and they're cheap too getting some rust on them. Anyway got permission from "The Boss" to get new ones. I've been lookin at Wild 1 8" drags and Low Profile Drags. But I also like the StreetFighter bar from them and the KlockWerks Mentele. So anyway whats you guys thoughts?

I've got a set of Carlini Original T-Bars on mine, and I've been very happy with them. I had a set of 6" risers and drag bars before these, and they killed my shoulders.

I am in the process of installing Heritage Classic bars on my 05. Of all the h-bars I have had, they are the most comfortable, and at my age, comfort trumps looks.

I tell ya sometimes this search for stuff is such a PITA. There's no place to actually see them. I probably should go with the 8" or Low-rise drags from Wild 1 but I really like the look of the mentele or streetfighter bars. What do ya'll think of the wider bars on the standard front end?

Well I guess I made my decision. I went totally another way and got a set of wild 1's 12.5 apes. I sat on the bike and did some measuring and that seemed to be the ticket. I'll post some pics up when I get the bars on. Thanx for all the help.

I have the LA Choppers club bars on the wife's sporty which I am riding today. I have the 9.5" version and they are nice as they have a fair amount of pullback. I'll get some pics. They are not too expensive either. They are also very easy to wire internally as they are rounded instead of squared off.

I think personaly you can't get a better bar than the factory stock one. At least for me they fit like a glove.
