I know this is an old post, but you figure this out? How did it work?

I ended up going with the LaBriola jockey shift. I still have the rocker style clutch but it was going to require too much work to get it to work. Didn't mind the jockey shifter but the bike was just too uncomfortable to ride any good distance so I sold it a few months ago.
