I learned that I will be paying someone to put mine on..props to you guys with the skill to do that ****..

 

the good thing about doing it yourself is you learn more about your bike (then there's the whole money saving bit)... but I definitely wouldn't blame anyone for hiring it out.

 

Excellent Tutorial and remind me to never attempt this myself! (and I was an aircraft mechanic for 20 years!). Cripes, what a job.

 

Excellent thread. Write up is very good which is handy because there are no pictures showing. Just about to put "normal" 16" apes on my 2011 FB and this helps a lot. Thanks.
