Default velocity stacks and a stock Carb

Are there any issues with putting a velocity stack on a stock carburetor? I have a 2000 fxst and love the stack look, just don't know if my stock carb will work well with it.

My concern is the amount of air it would take in would exceed the amount a stock carb could handle even if it were to be rejetted.

holy crap that thing looks massive! I love it. Who makes it? This would totally be an alternative to the RS if only it came in a glossy black. Love it, thanks for sharing the pic.

Surg: I got it from Johnny Goodson at Insane Custom Cycles. www.insanecustomcycles.com. He's a super cool dude and can have it done in gloss black if you want.

Thanks Branner,
The numbers seems not to be working but I sent them an email. I may also look for them to do a rear fender as well. Appreciate the contact info.

remember the engine can only pull in as much air as it needs... a velocity stack is no forced induction
