OK, Folks, help me out here. I have a 2011 Heritage with a dealer installed stage one (whatever that means because me don't know nutin about this stuff).
The dealer used the stock pipes, but they did change out the mufflers for slash-downs and changed the filter to a small, high-flow stock filter. Which K&N system would be better? I'm a school teacher, so money is an obstacle. How does one increase out-of-the-hole throttle response, and low end "jump" on a Heritage using a "poor man's" budget in the process? Would some time on a dyno machine add anything? I can't afford to make big money changes, but does that mean there aren't little things I can do to increase performance?

A good two into one pipe and a dyno tune would give you a bump in the seat of the pants feel but only you can justify 500+ dollar price tag for some more power. I would enjoy what you have and save up for some cams and a plug in tuner or dyno.

 

Agree with Soft 02. If you've already got the stage 1, anything else you want to add for performance is going to cost some money. Are you looking for more power and torque, or better sound? You could always mess with the baffles if you want it louder...
