Default fxst front end leaking oil help

My fork is leaking up top not from the cap but from them seam. any ways to fix this? i dont no much about front ends thanks

Get a service manual for your year and model bike and put new seals in. Its really not that hard.
I'm sure some guys will chime in with the best weight fork oil for your bike.

I think were 9 meets 24. Its leaking at the top of the tube where the seam or crack is. Would Tightening the top nut stop this?

Looks like you need to replace #26. Good time to change the oil too. I believe your service interval is 20,000 miles.

I had the cap come loose slightly on mine once. Tightened it up, end of problem.

oil way up there is strange, there should only be 10-12 oz's in there, shouldn't get up there
