Well being that the moco did away with the inspection cover on the primary, is there any thing out there that any of you use to fill in that blank spot where it used to be? To me it really looks unfinished. I was thinking of a plate that could be engraved or what ever that you could attach in the empty space. Any thoughts or ideas. Thanks

 

If you want to fill that void pick a pre 07 primary inspection cover and drill n tap your cover to accept the old style inspection cover.

 

Do you think the old covers are the same size as void that is there now? That would work out great if it were.

 

I don't believe they will retro-fit. The bosses for the bolts are different in the 2 covers. Just get one of those chrome stick on doodads & be done with it.

 

Looks like it but I would take an inspection cover over to the void and see if it sits flush in the resess.

 

Dickey I know you hate denim black and black out bikes but I wanted something that could be engraved and powder coated, like the derby covers that Story does.

J&P Cycles has em. The chrome ones could be taken to a trophy/ plaque shop for custom engraving, (ie, "If you value your life..."etc).
I'm digging the black one for my scoot... just to break up the mass expanse of chrome.

yeah i guess a double-sided tape filler, and send it out to Story808 for engraving would fill that void fairly well
