Fat Boy vs. Fat Boy Lo
#61
I went the Lo for looks. The standard fatboy has to much chrome for me, but as its been stated in earlier posts, to each their own. I had concerns being 6ft2, but was advised to give the Lo a crack as my height was not a problem....glad I did as the ride is ultra comfy. Added some highway cruise pegs and I'm in heaven. Awesome ride!!

The 2012 Fatboy Lo and the standard Fatboy both come with the exact same seat, The difference is the Fatboy Lo is 1.15 inches lower suspension! I can tell you i just bought a 2012 Fatboy Lo in Big blue pearl and it is the most comfy bike that i have ever riddin and owned. Trust me even tho its lower then the standard fatboy the ride is exactly the same your just sitting a tiny bit lower. As far as comparing the two i think the Lo is much nicer mainley cause i love the blacked out look. When i was first looking for a new bike last year i didnt really like the satin chrome on the low. But my opinion changed especially when i saw the bike in big blue pearl. The blacked out parts with the satin chrome and the dark blue paint job looks amazing to me! I love this bike! Oh and im 6ft and this bike is not too low for me at all it fits perfect!!

I like the chrome on my FLSTF, my bike handles quite nice when cornering but I did touch the floorboard on the tarmac twice last year (when cornering with 2up) the sound scared me.
The prices w/tax will reach well into 18K for new, bought mine (05) for close to half of that this spring, 11K miles.
