Default TURQUOISE / WHITE Fat Boy?

This 05 Fat Boy is listed on one of my local dealers web site. Is this a factory color or did the dealer paint it? I kinda like this color scheme.

Its a factory color I'm pretty sure. I went to Smith Bros. in Johnson City, Tennessee right before Christmas and I swear they had like 5 bikes with that same paint scheme. I didn't know one Harley from another then to be honest but I think they were different models. Must have been some kind of commemerative (sp?) paint.

It's factory. That used to be a color option. There were even some sportsters that came in those colors.

I'll agree with you on the color scheme, I like it also. Are you just looking or are you in the market for a new Harley? I was at my dealer last weekend to get a service job on my Springer and I saw a FB with pearlesant (spelling?) paint and ghost flames. I sat on it and admired it, it sure looked and felt great.

I like it, that's for sure. But from the photo it kinda looks Diamond Ice instead of white. Is it just me?[8D]

Well I hope to be in the market soon..... I'm still in the convincing the wife stage. [sm=happybounce.gif]

We are scheduled for the MSF class in a couple of weeks so I'm hoping that helps.

I'm not saying that this is for evrybody but the wife knew that I had an interest in Harleys for most of my life. We went to town for Mother's Day and I wanted to look at the Harleys before we ate. I walked in and the dealer met me and asked me what I wanted. I told him, he said that he had one and I bought it on the spot. The wife had no idea that I was going to buy it. She knows that I am impulsive and she didn't say anything about it. She said that I surprised her a little, but since I am the one that pays the bills, there wasn't much that she could say.

My local dealer (Halls in Springfield, IL) has had a Wide Glide, a Fat Boy, a Heritage and a Dyna Low Rider with that paint set at different times this year. My OL went gah gah over the colors every time she saw them.

I saw one like this at bike week - I bet there are very few of them - I like the color combo!

I love that color combo (the red and black) that's the colors on my sporster. I love the sporster, but I wouldn't mind adding a big twin in the same color options to the garage.

As for the turquoise/white. I might know someone selling an Ultra in that color option soon. Anybody interested?
