Default J&S Jack & Oil Change

I have a J&S Jack & my buddy wants to change his oil on his Softail. Will a oil pan fit between the bike & jack? What's the best way to do it with out making a mess???

Thanks!

I have a J&S, but I dont change the oil on the jack. You need an oil pan adapter: http://www.jsjacks.com/products/oil-pan-adapter

However, the Adapter wont work on a Softail because the drain plug is near the back where the frame sits on the jack (I think thats the reason, call them and ask, they are extremely helpful)

don't know how to get the oil pan between the bike and jack if the bikes on it..

I use plenty of news-papers on the floor if any spills out of pan they will soak it up.
