2006 Softail deluxe
I am new to HD's and can't wait to get one. I am going to look at a 2006 softail deluxe tomorrow. the bike has only 4000 miles and its beautiful. However a couple guys I work with have told me not to get a 2006 because they say that that year has had nothing but problems with EFI. Is this true? Since I am going to look tomorrow, and I need to know if I should stay away from 2006's or not, I decided to go to the folks who would know best. So please help me out!

I never heard anything negative about the 06. I own an 05 Deluxe and have never experienced any problems other than the floorboards coming off. Quick fix or replace. Sounds like a great bike with few miles. What color is she?

efi is pretty reliable, but if you switch pipes or the a/c you have to spend alot of money for a tuner and sometimes a dyno session. with a carb its much cheaper and simpler.
