Default My mod of the month..

Had to spend so show prize money so I put some back into the bike. I ordered the low profile dash. I also wanted the flush mount gas caps but Harley states that they only fit the 2004-2006 carb bikes. Has anyone bought them and tried them on a 2000-2003 carb bike? Anyways the dash made the tank look a lot longer. I had to bend the seat tab to make the seat fit over the new dash.

Your bike is absolutely gnarly, Fireman. I was checking out the show pics of your bike last week and noticed you had the dash extension with blacked grooves. I've been thinking about going that route for now. If you're thinking about getting rid of it, I'd be interested.

It was about a 30-45 min install. Was straight forward and easy. Hardest part was getting my gauge chrome visor off without scratching it.

I have an 06 "I" and I have flush mount gas caps. If they were wrong about that, "only" carb bikes, maybe they are wrong about that too!
