Default 2000 fatboy - diff tank/fender's that would fit?

i have a black 2000 fatboy, carbed, and have been looking on ebay, sometimes there's some good deals on tank/fender sets

what year/s would fit my bike? i know alot of you guys are "sharp as a tack" when it comes to "interchangablity" (sp?)

i cant imagine why a EFI tank wouldnt work? werent the tanks made to go either way from harley?

thanks guys

Frt fender is the same. Any FL Softail fender will work (& some others)
Any 00 up tank will work. Up til 07 at least. They make a kit to run an FI tank on a Carb model, but not carb to FI.
Rear fender is tricky. 00-02 will bolt up to yours. 03 & newer, rear fenders got wider. 03's got a 150 rr/tire so fen is 1/2" wider. And they change again.
So what ever newer fender you run, you will have to get the struts to go with it.

The 00-03 tanks for carbed bikes didn't have the large hole in to top of the tank. After that they used the same tanks for both EFI and carb. You can use a newer tank (or an 00-03 EFI tank), but you'll have to get the plate that covers the large hole in the top of the tank.

I don't believe that is correct. As long as it's not the wider fender for the newer 200 back tire, any back fender should work. I have a 94 heritage rear fender on an 04 with a 160 tire and it fits in the fender no problem.

I think belt width was the issue with wider tires on the earlier models.
