Default fatboy lo stock riser/handlebar size?

Im trying to get a different set of apes that i like, and im not sure what size to order. My risers are stock, and the bars appear to be 1 1/4" and reduce down by the grips. If the weather was permitting id run out to the shed and pull off a riser cap to check. But hey, thats what forums are all about

Go here for your information:

http://s7d1.scene7.com/s7/brochure/f...iserDimensions

These are the dimensions for the OEM risers.

The FB LO has 1.25" diameter handlebars.

Your risers accept 1.25" bars. You will need 1.25 apes or new risers if you buy bars that are stepped down to 1" in the mounting area.

Or you can also get adapters that will allow you to clamp 1" bars in your stock risers.

Yup! like the previous posts, stock risers are 1.25" and our bikes would look puny with 1" bars, you can also go up to 1.5" bars but would require new risers. There is alot out there for bars though, do some searching and figure out what you want your bike to end up looking like...
