Default fat spokes...better combo, 21/18" or 21/16"?

just trying to see what everyone's opinion is. The most obvious benefit that i can see is that when running a 16 rear you can run a fatter white wall but with an 18 rear you show more rim.

21 / 18 for me. My thinking was if I'm gonna drop big coin on wheels.I want to see as much wheel as possible. Both in height and width.Very Happy with my purchase. I think its more of a personal choice. There is no right or wrong, its what you like that matters.

You said it best yourself. If you want to show white wall, do the rear 16. If you want to show spoke, do rear 18. I went 16/21.

I didn't notice a ride difference going from a 16" to an 18" rear. I put a 21" in front. If you don't adjust your suspension you're gonna put more rake stress with the 16-21 than 18-21, turning the handlebars at low speeds will be harder and result in a more heavy (violent) turning.

Just a heads up on that.

Mimo.

16/21 combo for me. And I have had a violent low speed turn coming out of our local watering hole. Of course I had the air dumped out of the rear and hung the primary cover on the asphalt. Luckily with years of motocross racing I kept the throttle on or I would of high sided and wiped out. I know the violent turn wasnt from the wheel combo it was from being a dumb ***. I dont think you can go wrong with either combo. Fat spokes are the ****!

If your out for the Socal look, with the 21" up front, I'd vote 18" on the rear! Looks the dogs!
