If you sold your bike and bought a used Night Train (2007-2009) you'd have money in your pocket and the look you want.

I am also wondering why the thread starter bought a Blackline in the first place. The model's main claim to fame (other than those horrible handlebars) is the 140 skinny rear tire. Why then have to go to all the trouble of modding it to have a 200?

Why would you ever want to change something on a Harley?

Some of my favourite mods were from adapting parts from other bikes. If you want a new FX Softail with a 200 tire, you have to make one. I am really amazed that it will clear the swingarm, thought for sure the swingarm was narrower on the BL.

Alright, someone now put an FX Springer front end on the Blackline!!

O so when you bought your bike did you left it standard… just the way it came from factory?

Just wondering what you had to do wheel/pulley wise. I'd be running an 18x5.5 from roland sands in the rear myself. Just the pesky abs to deal with now.........
Had a talk with local dealer yesterday whilst having 1st service done. They allready done 2 blacklines with 200 rear. All you need is 200 wheel, tyre, new struts, new fender and 3-4 hours labour.

Ok... You may have somewhat of a point there. However, me changing various bolt-on parts is a lot different than someone buying a bike like the BL whose claim to fame is a SKINNY REAR TIRE and then... wanting to put on A FAT REAR TIRE. Which, to me, is kind of a major mod, no? I see it this way- this is akin to me buying a Night Train (a bike whose claim to fame is that it's mainly BLACK) and swapping every black part out for gleaming chrome.

My worthless $.02.
