Anyone got a recommendation for a travel bag for my Heritage? I'm looking for an extra large one that can be placed on my luggage rack and hold a couple days of stuff for my wife and I.

You might think about getting one of those dual-purpose backrest/bags. Use it for a travel bag on your luggage rack when you're two-up on a trip and then turn it around and use if for a backrest when your wife's not riding. That;s what I did, works great.

 

Tons of options! I have been looking too and it really depends on how much you want to spend.

And the list goes on, but that should get you started in right direction Also, keep in mind that many bags can be expanded by adding an additional roll bag on top, something you might want to think about for future use.

Street Bob, your statement is the purpose for my post. There are "ton's of options" and I can't decide which one is the best bet. Most of the deals are online so you can't touch and feel them before purchase so I'm leaning on those here who have made a purchase and are happy.

And packing for 4-5 days is no problem at all and leaves the saddle bags free for other stuff!

 

I have the HD touring bag "system" Its got a big bag and a smaller day sized bag that can attach to it. I ran both bags on my sissy bar for a 3200 mile, 10 day trip to Colorado and had plenty of room.
