This pic was taken today, took a short ride before the rain hit. About to tear it down for winter mods: blacking out a few parts, upgrading clutch, boring cylinders to 3.938 (107"), Wiseco 10.25:1 pistons, Woods 777 cams, Gaterman 1023 lifters, FM adjustable pushrods, Screaming Eagle 50mm throttle body bored to 54mm and ported, 1.75" runners, 4.9 g/s injectors and WFO Larry stage 2 heads.

If you don't mind me asking. How much have you spent on all your mods minus the bags and windshield.

Sissy bar $269 - and worth it - excellent quality & fit - you can get one with or without the mount for a back rest pad which I believe was about $50 from HD.
Also they come in different heights.
Seat $325 & pipes $700.
The pipes are amazingly different than the stock sound which was a little too quiet for me....but not any more!! They allow the big twin to sound like it was supposed to....

Awesome. Now I just need to find a way to get the pipes into CA. Stupid California laws.

I love seeing what everyone's idea of the Slim should be. It's an awesome bike to start with but there are so many great versions out there.

Default Headlamp trim ring

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find that BLACK headlight trim piece like on fls103's bike. I have been looking for quite a while and can only find a chrome one. Really want it and cant find it.

Thanks!

Thanks!
A powdercoater used to sell them on ebay, but he quit doing them becasue there is no money in it. Just buy the chrome one from Harley and have it powdercoated
