Default I like

Same setup on my Fatboy and I think it's great.. I got some LED lights form Hansons that bolted on back of the bags for turn/tail lights so there's no lid interference. I've got about the same amount of money invested to with bags off Craigs list and having to pay retail on the bag brackets. The bags do fit back past the fender but have to if your significant other wants to go but it looks cool to me.

The CV kit should come with the quick release pins as well.

How do you have those bags mounted?

Default Docking hardware

ccarmack - I have quick release docking hardware on the rear fender which I ue for both the detachable bags and a detachable sissy bar and luggage rack. They are Harley bags - expensive, and I'm sure I could have done cheaper with another retailer, but I got them as a package when I bought the bike.

I'm sure it does but I got mine at the dealership as it was coming off of a heritage so i'm guessing they didnt throw that in.

Looks great! I'm new on here so I still need to post up some pics. I was wondering if you can post some pictures of your set up from the rear too. I wanted to get an idea of the gap and how the turn signals fit. I'm planning on adding the RK bags to my fatty too. Thanks man.
