Head Light brghtness comparisons
I am looking at getting a skull headlight.
Brightest one indicates 205W light (2 eyes and 1 mouth). It goes on to say they are not DOT approved, how does this compare to the stock light?
Off hand it seems that it is more watts, but smaller appature that it is coming out of...
Anyway, some someone has any info that could clarify I would appreciate it. I'm looking to not get pulled over and ticketed.
site for the light I am looking at is:

Just looking at it I do not think it would Have a nice pattern of light, half the high beam lights are blocked by the cheek bones it looks like. plus when the state 205watts it is just like they say combined. the reason it is not dot approved is probably be cause it is too bright.
I think the stock light came with a 60/55 in it. I replaced that with an offroad bulb rated at 100/55. which would not be dot approved as well.
