Default Tire/Wheel Bearing Change?

Coming up on my FIRST tire change(Frt and Rear 9500mi). Question is do I need to upgrade or change wheel bearings? I've got a friend with all the tools and will use Dyna beads.

Probably not, unless they are bad.

You will already have the wheels off. You might as well go ahead and perform preventive maintenance on what you can. Stay away from the HD bearings. They are way to pricey for what you get. You can get both sets of AllBallz bearings for what you pay for one set from HD and from my personal experience I feel they are a better quality. If your friend has a blind hole bearing puller then by all means change them.

I believe the recommended change interval is 30K. But if you really want to change bearings, find you a set of double row bearings that will fit.
