i have a 87 softail and need some ideas and tips for making it a sweet ride.

I can lend some advice on this issue.

(1) First, buy two items:
Harley Service Manual = 99482-90
Harley Parts manual = 99450-90A

(2) Give your bike a complete service per the manual.

(3) Once your bike is mechanically sound and safe, sit down with a pen and paper and list every customizing idea you have. Make a written project plan. Research products through the web. Refine and finalize your project plan before dropping coin.
