my next helmet will likely be the nolan http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...om-Helmet.aspx

because i really like having a sunscreen that pulls down along with a face mask- and that helmet has a removable chin protector.

my current helmet is similar but doesnt have the chin part

I use a 1/2 helmet when it's warm and a Shoei Quest FF when cold. The Quest is lightweight, comfortable, and quiet for a FF helmet.

+1 on the Shoei Qwest. Amazingly comfortable and quiet.
Just bought an AFX FX-50, 3/4 style. Internal smoke shield, clear flip shield. Very good value.

I had one of those, it was what I wore most of the year. Then it got stolen off my bike.

The chin bar combined with the shield doesn't work very well though, because the shield has no detents - its either all up or all down. There's no way to get any ventilation, so it fogs up.

They just came out with a newer version, the N43E, which has detents on the shield. I will probably get one here at some point.
