Heritage saggy bags
I am thinking of getting a heritage, but all the pics I see of 2 years old or more, have saggy bags. I know they sell kits to stiffen them- does anyone have experience with these? do they work over the long haul?

I saw some on here recommend gotsaggybags.com. I bought a set for my heritage and will put them on next week. Reviews are positive.

I have the kit on my 2005....looks just like new, but you still have to condition and protect the leather.

I picked up some bag inserts on ebay for my 04. They look great now.

My brother bought an 09 heritage new and put the aftermarket inserts in right away. His bags look like brand new, no deformation. Not sure which kit he bought, but I think it was less than a hundred bucks. Way cheaper than new bags. Plus, I'm not a bag man myself, but those heritage bags look sweet on that bike IF they are taken care of and not deformed by that pesky gravity!!! I have a single Leatherworks (which I love!!!) side bag on my rocker and every year when old man winter comes and we switch to snowmobiles, I take my bag off and fill it with some summer clothes to help it keep it's shape and lay it on it's side somewhere safe in the house for the winter. Still looks great. Ps My brother loves his heritage!!

I sent my '09' bags off to Boss Bags shortly after new. It's a little expensive but they do a great job. Can even lock them up at night now. My brother did this on his '06' and after 40,000 miles they still looked perfect. HD should do this at the factory.

I had a 2010 Heritage and my bags were disgusting. I now have a 2012 Heritage and I have the saggy bags kit in it. Looks great, I have several friends with older bikes who also have the saggy bags kit and they look great. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I had just posted a thread about 2 weeks ago for the same problem.
I got the Papa bags system. and have just put them on my 07 Heritage.
I am going to condition the leather tonight. But they look 90% better.
