marginal starter's are the norm ..when hot the compression increase's.
give it to HD ,they keep the aftermarket starter company's in business.

 

Well Mackie Harley replaced the starter under extended. Picked it up today and all is GOOD!!Thank God

From,,,, (I don't trust them at all),,,
to (Should I Let the dealer look at it)
To -- Thank God all is well, the Dealer fixed it.


I've have nothing but good service at the dealer, Yea It will cost more than the local INDY I use for brakes and tires.
Cheapest is when I do the work, But just as in this case, sometimes most of us have to take them in, if the work is more than we want.

im having the same exact problem with my 2008 fat boy 105th anniversary ..and I also have vance and hines fuel pak..bike makes horrible sounds and back pressure after shes warmed up then i go to restart it..any help
aprreciated..and was it the starter??????????

 

My 2011 Fatboy had trouble starting when hot and it was a bad battery. That's it!
