Default Fat Boy Lo Detachable Saddlebags

Just finished installing the HD Detachable saddlebags on my 2011 Fat Boy Lo. I did "bite the bullet" and purchase the sissy bar, luggage rack, saddlebags and docking hardware. BE SURE they order the rear directional relocation kit. I've included some photos of what comes in the pack. Essentially you will be moving your directionals back about 3 inches. There is no splicing or wire cutting necessary. There are quick connect extension wires which makes it pretty simple. The job was not difficult at all. I've included some pix.

Can I get the part numbers please? I ordered the saddlebags and docking hardware but my parts guy was slow stupid and rude. He sold me the directional relocation kit, not rear directional relocation kit, so now that I read this I gotta cancel it and reorder because the picture of the one I wanted matches what u got but not what he ordered. Plus he sold me 2 docking hardware sets, not sure of the pn but they also did not match what I was expecting. so if u could tell me exactly which pn for the relocation kit and the docking hardware that would be awesome. Thanks nice lookin scoot to

Well don't feel bad. My HD parts guy spent about a half hour the first time and still missed a few parts. As far as the docking kits, I had to purchase 2 different kits, some parts you just don't use! Here's my parts and numbers and prices:
Luggage rack: 54263-10 $134.95
Smooth BackRest pad: 51641-06 $ 69.95
Turn signal relo kit,black: 73369-10 $89.95
Kit-dock hardware. w/s bags 53930-03A $34.95
Custom low med sissy bar : 54256-10 $99.95
Detachable sideplates: 54258-10 $139.99
Saddlebag docking hardware: 88256-07 $29.95
Kit-saddlebag,detachable ,flstf/b : 90200616A $ 849.95
The mechanics at the shop (And I'm down here in Daytona!!)had never placed these kit's, so they were pretty interested and helpful with any questions.

Ride safe...see ya during Bike week.

OH Meant to say this in last post...everything is ordered correctly except he swears directional relocation kit 54268-10 will be what I need sooo I am guessing, based on what I can find on the forum, that this either is wrong and only for detachable hardware without bags, or it is different and from some comments i have heard, "unfinished looking and ugly, and why did harley change"... so it is paid for and arrived at the dealer...looks like we will see soon...if ur interested I will post pics and tell u what happens, but the install is going on 7 August or so as my bike is not built yet.

No, just a quick disconnect kit from the dealer, (not a harley part).. Came out of the "fat book"... Studs mount to bike, spring loaded sleeves mount to bags, they are very close to the rear turn signals, but dont touch them ...I can post some pics and part numbers this evening if ya like, looks like the same bags

You don't need the signal relocation kit. Just grind 1/8" off the end of the side plates and they fit just fine.
